Senior HR Business Partner

Overview:
USPRO is looking for a proven HR Business Partner to work with a healthcare client of ours in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. This individual is the primary contact for all HR related initiatives including Compensation, Employee Relations, HRIS, Recruitment/Talent Acquisition, Training and Organizational Development. Primary emphasis of this role will involve Employee Relations.
Employment type: Contract
Duration: 6+ months (with possible conversion to perm)
Responsibilities:
- Identify and understand clients’ fiscal year operating goals, evaluate operating plans for any potential HR-related applications, and create strategies to respond to implications.
- Support clients with advice on labor and employee relation policies and practices. Develop response plans with clients for dealing with employee relation issues while helping to identify trends within a client group.
- Work collaboratively with HRIS to identify client needs and prepare metrics and reports, analyze data, identify trends and make recommendations to clients.
- Review budget with clients to obtain projected budgeted FTEs for fiscal year and anticipated growth. Assist in developing a recruitment strategy in collaboration with Talent Acquisition. Partnes with Compensation to review/develop appropriate job descriptions and grading of positions and assist with JCAHO and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Learning and Organizational Effectiveness specialists in developing, implementing, presenting, and evaluating training programs to address client needs. Review employee relations and performance management trends and submit recommended training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or related area required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience as an HR Business Partner preferred.
- Strong employee relations experience is required.
- Must have 3+ years related professional experience; demonstrated knowledge of all human resource functions.
- Effective communication and human relation skills required as well as critical thinking, decision-making and relationship building skills.
Additional Notes:
- PHR SPHR certifications are preferred.
