Pay Rate: $45,000 – $65,000/year

Position Summary:

The Product Designer is responsible for the timely development of production packages to support the manufacture of industrial refrigeration systems.

General Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Design full bill of materials (BOM) for industrial refrigerated products by selecting the correct components, pipe size, and layout.
• Use AutoCad and Excel to prepare refrigeration and piping system plans.
• Act as lead in the creation of product shop orders.
• Prepare product manuals.
• Participate in the ECO process.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned such as testing, inspection, etc.
• Work closely with other departments including Engineering and Assembly to achieve company goals.
• Be a team player.
• Work hard and have fun.
• Make suggestions to foster an environment of continuous improvement for oneself, team, and company.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient with AutoCAD design software.
• Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
