Assistant Restaurant Manager
Location: Lincoln, NH
Pay Rate: $60,000/yr

What You’ll Do:
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations. You’ll be a hands-on leader—managing service standards, coaching your team, and driving profitability while ensuring every guest leaves happy. You will step in as the acting GM when needed, setting the tone for service and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the restaurant during shifts, ensuring smooth operations, efficient workflows, and team alignment with company goals.
- Serve as a role model by actively working alongside your team and training staff in real time.
- Conduct effective pre-shift briefings and team huddles to align on daily goals.
- Ensure top-tier food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
- Quickly address guest concerns while fostering a service-first culture.
- Manage P&L responsibilities including labor, inventory, and cost control.
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to meet performance targets.
- Use data and insight to make informed decisions.
Anticipate operational challenges and implement proactive solutions.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor team members and shift leaders.
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching through performance reviews and daily leadership.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local health codes, and company safety policies.
- Promote a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
- Implement and monitor a Preventative Maintenance Plan to keep the restaurant and equipment in peak condition.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Experience: 2–4 years of leadership experience in food service or retail, including P&L accountability.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Basic business math and accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Conflict resolution and team-building experience
- Basic PC literacy
Work Expectations:
- Must be available to work 50 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- This is a non-travel position.
