Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Materials Planning Specialist to join our production support team. In this vital role, you will coordinate the movement, tracking, and planning of critical hardware and materials as they flow through the repair and manufacturing process. Acting as a key liaison between planning, procurement, production, and warehousing teams, you will ensure the timely and accurate availability of materials in alignment with production schedules and depot repair needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support material planning and control functions to ensure efficient hardware flow throughout the repair and production processes.
• Utilize the YORK (Your Online Repair Knowledge) system to accurately track hardware status and location across factory and depot areas.
• Prepare, monitor, and maintain material requisitions, schedules, and planning documents.
• Coordinate engineering specifications and ensure material movement aligns with purchasing, inventory, and production requirements.
• Generate and analyze material planning and scheduling reports using MRP systems, particularly Oracle.
• Support administrative functions, including documentation, reporting, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
• Act as a key point of contact for administrative coordination within the department, interfacing with multiple teams to support production timelines.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or relevant certification preferred.
• Previous experience in material planning, inventory coordination, or production support is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or depot environments, particularly with material tracking or logistics coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with Oracle or other MRP/ERP systems preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
