Billing & Audit Analyst

Pay Range: $24.00-$30.00/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Billing & Audit Analyst to join our finance team. This hybrid role is ideal for a motivated professional with a background in billing, accounts receivable/payable, and government contract support. Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical support for billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable teams by retrieving documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist the Billing Specialist in processing invoices and setting up customer contracts in SAP.
- Support the Billing Manager with process documentation, workflow improvements, and various ad hoc projects.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in billing-related activities and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in billing, accounting, or customer service roles.
- Prior experience working with government contracts and billing.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to manage client interactions effectively.
- Comfortable working independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience supporting audit requests in a billing or accounting environment.
- Previous hands-on experience with SAP or other enterprise financial systems.
- Demonstrated strengths in technical aptitude, process ownership, and follow-through.
