Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Pay Range: $45.00-$50.00/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Facilities organization. This individual will play a critical role in delivering data-driven insights and solutions that support strategic decision-making across key business functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Power BI, Python, and data transformation processes, along with a collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize large, complex datasets and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Create and manage ETL pipelines using Python to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Optimize existing dashboards and data processes to enhance performance, usability, and analytical value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as project management, sustainability, and plant engineering to ensure business intelligence solutions align with operational needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering data sources, ETL processes, and dashboard design specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing business processes, identifying trends, and recommending data-informed enhancements.
- Interpret large volumes of data to uncover insights and patterns, crafting compelling narratives and strategic recommendations for leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or similar role developing in Power BI, SQL, and Python
(A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of relevant experience)
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development
- Strong Python programming skills for ETL and data transformation tasks
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database querying
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical information to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SharePoint for collaboration and document management
- Familiarity with Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation
- Exposure to Amazon AWS Redshift or other cloud-based data warehousing solutions
- Background working in facilities, operations, or engineering environments
- Knowledge of agile or lean process improvement methodologies
