JOB SUMMARY
|
The primary responsibility of the Outbound Associate I is to safely pick, pack, prep, and put-away product per established production rates using specified processes and procedures. Associate will be cross-trained to work in various departments to perform pick, pack, receiving, shipping, and put-away assignments based on business and operational needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate Electric Pallet Jack in accordance with Company Training Certification Standards.
|
- Pick an average of 15 lines per hour, and limit down time b/t picks to a min of 5min.
|
- Clean and keep aisle free of loose boxes and other materials.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.

- Understand unit of measurement and being able to apply to customers specifications.
|
- Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment.

- Picking product neatly, by cutting boxes according to specified details.
- Build pallets/boxes with orders and position them to loading docks.
- Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.
- Loading and Staging product on truck.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 yrs. minimum in warehouse environment
|
- Ability to understand basic math to ensure accurate product quantities.
|
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the entire shift from floor to over-head.
|
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool.
|
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
|
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- At least 1yr experience in distribution sector.
- High School Diploma of GED

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
|
|
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
