SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR:

Be a member of a DT system administration team of 10 that provide day-to-day DT operational support of several secure lab environments across the company site.

SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED ON DAY 1

o Description of Duties:

• You will support a variety of physical clients, servers, storage and networking equipment in restricted or secure laboratory spaces.
• You will maintain cyber compliance standards on Company systems.
• You will help in virtual Infrastructure Support.
• You will resolve technical challenges using proven troubleshooting approaches and methodologies.
• You will regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross functional team and/or leads cross-functional initiatives.
• You will build strong relationships with customers and peers.
• You will learn how to stride with little instruction from leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Must have active Secret Security clearance at start of employment.
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Network devices (managed switches, routers, firewalls) and network protocols (TCP/IP, etc.).
• Experience with Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VMWare, etc.)
• Strong computer literacy – including x86 based hardware, Microsoft/Linux/Unix operating systems and systems administration.
• Security certifications (Sec+, CISSP, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

• Technology certifications (Systems Administration, Cloud, etc.)
• Experience with Compliance frameworks (RMF, DFARS)
• Applying best practices in system security and cyber hardening for design of DT solutions, including segmented computing environments, managed data transfers, patching and vulnerability management. (STIG, etc.)
• Proven success working within large, multi-disciplined teams in a fast, dynamic environment to achieve a common technical solution and resolving complex problems. Knowledge of agile project methodologies and concepts is a plus.
