Electro Mechanical Assembler
USPRO is seeking Electro Mechanical Assemblers to assemble semi-automated equipment used for precision fluid measuring and operator testing for our manufacturing client in Reno!
We’re looking for those trained in, or have experience with, electronic/electrical machines or fine mechanism service or assembly. Electro Mechanical Assemblers will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment on industry leading equipment with cutting edge technology.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble simple to sophisticated laboratory fluid handling equipment and robots.
• Use of common test equipment, including voltmeters and specific product testers.
• Work in a production environment assembling mechanical laboratory devices.
• Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, high efficiency, and ability to follow process instructions.
• Use of hand tools, tweezers, and other light machinery.
• Assemble equipment according to blueprint and schematics correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas.
• Experience using diagrams or blueprints, and follow other written or verbal instructions.
• Mechanically inclined with good dexterity – able to use both hand and power tools.
• Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework.
• Proven experience with safe production standards.
• Stable work history.
• Basic math may be required for computing quantities and simple addition and subtraction for counting parts.
• Requires excellent manual dexterity, ability to work with small components and hand tools, and a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years experience in assembly and testing of small electromechanical assemblies.
• Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion Preferred
Pay Rate: $20 to $22/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am -2:30pm
