Pay Range: $100K – $130K/year

Job Description

The Safety Manager provides leadership and oversight to ensure a safe working environment on assigned projects. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs that comply with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across all project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans in partnership with Project Managers and leadership.
• Coordinate safety efforts across subcontractors, vendors, and owner personnel.
• Conduct quarterly on-site safety audits; evaluate equipment, processes, and project sites for compliance.
• Lead accident investigations, incident reporting, and corrective action plans.
• Provide Industrial Hygiene guidance and perform environmental monitoring.
• Deliver training and education, including new hire safety orientations and ongoing toolbox talks.
• Track and report weekly safety updates to the Director of Safety.
• Support medical response protocols and ensure all safety procedures are followed in the event of an incident.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in construction management or safety leadership.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; First Aid/CPR certified.
• Strong working knowledge of safety regulations and compliance practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam and Procore.
• Highly motivated with a commitment to professional growth in safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• CHST certification preferred.

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
