Test Engineer

Pay Range: $80.00 – $88.00/hour
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Job Description:
Seeking a Test Engineer to support on-site, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space Payload program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space.
- Applies understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, and/or COMMS
- Programming in C and/or MATLAB for understanding of editing/improving existing code
Required Qualifications:
- BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math); or HS diploma with at least 4 years of relevant military experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance, or military control room console operator; or defense industry work experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance
- Understanding of C, MATLAB and/or TCL programming/scripting languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.) is desired.
- Programming and scripting skills in C or MATLAB
- Scripting in Python or Tcl for understanding and editing/improving existing scripts
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket
- Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment
- TS or SCI for future opportunities is a plus
