Pay Range: $80-$105K/year (Based on Experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CAM / CREO Designer to support mechanical design, toolpath development, and production engineering for one of our key manufacturing partners. This individual will play a critical role in developing 3D models, creating CAM programs, and ensuring components are optimized for manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using PTC Creo
• Develop and optimize CAM toolpaths for CNC machining operations
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability
• Collaborate with engineering, machining, and project teams to support design and production needs
• Support prototype development, design revisions, and continuous improvement
• Maintain documentation, BOMs, and revision control
• Troubleshoot design or manufacturing issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance with internal quality and engineering standards

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer, CAM Programmer, or Design Engineer
• Strong proficiency in PTC Creo (3D modeling and drafting)
• Hands-on experience with CAM programming (Creo NC, Mastercam, or similar)
• Solid understanding of machining processes, CNC operations, materials, and tolerances
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or precision manufacturing
• Experience with PLM systems (Windchill preferred)
• Understanding of AS9100 or other quality-management systems
• Prototype or R&D experience

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
