Construction Project Manager – Mechanical Projects (Onsite, Tennessee)
Seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our project site in Tennessee. This role will oversee mechanical construction projects delivering energy savings for public, institutional, government, and commercial customers.
Oversee daily construction, administrative, and technical management of mechanical projects.
Support the Senior Project Manager with scheduling, quality tracking, reporting, and internal communications.
Serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring excellent service, relationship management, and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Manage vendors and subcontractors to maintain quality, meet deadlines, and control costs.
Maintain and update project schedules, monitor critical path activities, and track outstanding items.
Prepare detailed 2-week look-ahead schedules for customer coordination and planning.
Coordinate and schedule special inspections and AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) inspections.
Ensure compliance with company, customer, industry, and jurisdictional safety standards and codes.
Perform other duties as required.
3–5 years of mechanical project management experience.
Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive work style.
Proven experience in OSHA compliance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar proficiency.
Active listening skills with a professional, open, and positive approach.
Ability to travel frequently.
