Job Description:
Need an experienced technician to work in its Pilot Production Line performing assembly and test of complex electro-mechanical assembly of electronic products and support equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and sketches and be able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends.
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies on ordnance systems
Required Qualifications:
- 2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
- Proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools. Specific skills include:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects.
- Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
- Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data.
- Must demonstrate ability to read and use mechanical assembly and measurement tools such as micrometers and torque wrenches.
- Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.
