Accounts Receivable Technician

Pay Range: $25.00-$32.00/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Technician to join our dynamic North American Finance Service Center (NAFSC). As part of the Credit & Collections team, you will play a key role in supporting a range of North American business transactions, ensuring the accurate processing, reconciliation, and collection of receivables. Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile incoming cash receipts, ensuring accurate application and alignment with the general ledger.
- Manage the full trade accounts receivable collection cycle for assigned customer accounts, including proactive outreach and resolution of payment issues.
- Collaborate with internal finance and commercial teams to resolve outstanding balances and customer disputes.
- Prepare and distribute customer statements; maintain accurate records and documentation for account reconciliations.
- Update system records to reflect payment commitments, invoice disputes, and customer contact details in accordance with internal metrics.
- Research and respond to both internal and external inquiries, including audit-related requests, with a high degree of professionalism and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- Solid foundation in accounts receivable processes, supported by one of the following: an associate degree with 5+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, a master’s degree in accounting, or at least 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Macros
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to compliance and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system (training can be provided)
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven finance or shared services environment
