Pay Range: $48.00-$51.75/hour

Job Description:

The Artillery Vehicle Sr. Mechanical Engineer will evaluate prototype designs and create production drawings (level 3 Technical Data Package) compliant with industry and U.S. Government specifications, support design reviews and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex engineering design, development, analysis, and product assurance tasks of limited complexity for assigned portions of a project.
• Solves moderately complex engineering problems which have not been clearly defined and may not have similar precedents available.

Experience evaluating prototype designs and create production drawings (level 3 Technical Data Package) compliant with industry and U.S. Government specifications, support design reviews and meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years work experience in relevant work environment.
• Create & maintain product parts, assemblies & drawings using PTC Creo modeling software. •
•  Ability to review and drawings, and associate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and identify necessary corrections. •
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and Y14.5 •
• Knowledge of relevant military and commercial design standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Familiarity with creating and revising drawings using relevant military and commercial design standards.

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
