Assistant Integration Technician
Chandler, AZ
Starting Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public.
- Reads and interprets instruction manuals, blueprints and control system drawings; applies knowledge to daily tasks under the supervision of the Lead Electrician.
- Completes written and electronic records (i.e. work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, material requests) required to document the work in progress and as it is completed.
- Repair, test, troubleshoot, inspect; and install, remove and maintain solar site equipment such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, and SCADA equipment.
- Be available for after-hours and weekend callouts/shifts as needed.
- Perform assigned duties as an individual or team member during all phases of assembly, integration, and testing.
- Make basic layouts on parts or assemblies to establish reference points and to check dimensions • Must be capable of visualizing CAD drawings and understanding symbols, flag notes, and general notes
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience of commercial or industrial solar electric maintenance in the repair, inspection, testing, installation and/or maintenance of related electrical/electronic equipment.
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electricity, voltage and current relationships for both AC and DC circuits.
- Knowledge of Solar PV a plus.
- Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements.
- Use various types of tools (e.g., chop saw, grinder, drill press, disk sander, handheld power tools, precision measuring, etc.)
- Travel and flexibility for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs.
- Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by state of residence.
