Pay Range: $70,000-$90,000/year

Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager-I to support construction projects throughout the full project lifecycle. This role will assist the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager with document control, procurement, cost tracking, subcontractor coordination, and project reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize work in a fast-paced construction environment while supporting both field and office teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Field Support
• Support Project Managers with daily project execution, coordination, and issue resolution
• Facilitate communication between owners, subcontractors, consultants, and field teams
• Assist with schedule updates and reporting

Document Control & Procurement
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control using Procore and Viewpoint
• Review shop drawings and submittals for contract compliance
• Track material procurement, deliveries, and meeting documentation

Cost Management
• Support subcontractor buyout, change orders, and requisitions
• Assist with job cost tracking, invoices, and project accounting

Safety, Closeout & Team Support
• Promote jobsite safety and assist with safety documentation
• Support project reporting and closeout (as-builts, O&Ms, warranties, permits)
• Foster collaboration between office and field teams and support junior staff

Required Qualifications

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
