Assistant Superintendent

Pay Range: $85K – $100K/year
Job Summary:
The Assistant Superintendent supports the Superintendent in the daily operations of multi-family construction projects, ensuring quality control, job site safety, and adherence to schedule. This role helps coordinate subcontractors, manage on-site logistics, and maintain effective communication among project stakeholders.
Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day on-site construction operations for commercial multi-family projects.
Monitor subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and according to plans/specifications.
Maintain project schedules and report daily progress to the Superintendent and Project Manager.
Enforce job site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Conduct and document site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to building codes.
Support the coordination of materials, deliveries, and site logistics.
Communicate effectively with project team members, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.
Help manage punch lists, site meetings, and close-out processes.
2+ years of experience in a construction field role, preferably in multi-family or commercial projects.
Knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, building codes, and scheduling software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms is a plus.
OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
