Business Systems Analyst
United States (Remote)
Pay Range: $50.00-$58.00/hour
Overview:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support enterprise systems initiatives, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and related technologies. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design optimized solutions. The BSA will also perform data analysis, mapping, and visualization to support strategic decision-making and ensure systems deliver maximum value across the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data to develop business requirements, priorities, and implementation timelines.
- Evaluate and improve existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending technology solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Conduct gap analyses between current systems and business needs.
- Perform data mapping, cleansing, and analysis to support solution design.
- Review vendor release notes and assess impact on business processes.
- Prepare and deliver system demos and prototypes to validate requirements.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness and feasibility.
- Conduct peer reviews of business requirements documentation.
- Support testing activities including UAT, regression, and integration testing.
- Triage and analyze incidents, document findings, and create reports for leadership
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or similar platforms (Sales, Service, Marketing modules).
- Strong understanding of CRM principles and business process analysis.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications.
- Skilled in requirements elicitation, modeling, and verification.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
- Effective stakeholder management and influence capabilities.
- Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Familiarity with Power Platform, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- CCBA or CBAP certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the workday.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
