Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Pay Range: $85-$110k
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as required)
Job Summary:
The CNC Programmer is essential in ensuring the precision and quality of our products by programming on and offline for Lenco’s laser and press brakes machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong CNC programing background and take pride in contributing to the overall success of our mission-critical vehicle production.
What You’ll Do:
- Program both on-machine and offline laser and press brake equipment
- Utilize CAD and CNC software to create, edit, and manage laser nesting and bending programs
- Set up CNC equipment, including program retrieval, editing, and selection of appropriate gases, nozzles, and materials
- Diagnose machining and programming issues on active jobs and make necessary adjustments for quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with production staff and software engineers on checklist, paperwork quality and accuracy
- Ensure proper startup and shutdown procedures for all specialized equipment
- Adhere to and carry out existing Lenco work practices, procedures, and safety policies
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with Trumpf equipment is a PLUS
- Manufacturing experience in a metal shop and/or machine shop environment
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate CNC controls and CAD programs effectively
- Ability to understand and adapt to production schedules to ensure programs are ready as needed
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in automation, and ERP systems is a plus
