Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Chicago IL
Pay Range: $57-$63.25
Job Description:
Provide daily construction, administrative and technical management of solar construction projects delivering energy savings for public, institutional, government and commercial customers. · Assist the Senior Project Manager as required with project accounting, budgeting, project schedule and tracking, reporting quality management and internal communications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily construction reporting of vital, consistent log documenting on-site events, including labor, equipment, materials, weather, and safety. ·
- Ensure compliance with Company’s financial policies and procedures to include revenue recognition policies and project set up rules.
- Serve and assist as a liaison between the business office and operations. ·
- Direct interface with Ameresco customers managing customer service, relationships and contractual obligations. ·
- Assist the Engineering and Development team and the Senior Project Manager in project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, cost estimation, installation.
Required Qualifications:
- Solar experience
- Comfortable using a computer and job?site software
- Experience with Procore and Daily Logs required
- 5+ years of experience with college background, schooling, or solar certification
OR
- 10+ years of experience with no degree
- Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes. · D
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project. ·
- Procore proficiency managing multiple modules including RFIs, submittals, inspections, drawings, daily logs, observations, incidents, schedule, and photos ·
- Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state. · Other duties as required.
