EAP Specialist

EAP Specialist opportunity in Houston, TX! 
This is a W2 contract position. 
This position pays $35-$40/hr. 

• Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral, and follow-up services to employees and their families. May travel to other locations as necessary. EAP Specialist conducts individual, marital, family and group counseling.
• Provides crisis intervention and staffs all critical cases with EAP Manager.
• Follows standard operating procedures and practices for EAP service delivery that ensure client confidentiality, and timely, ethical, and quality services.
• Orients clients and others to scope of EAP services and the limits of confidentiality.
• • Collects collateral and follow-up information, interprets for use in assistance plan, fitness for duty evaluations, for-cause testing, and return to work agreements.
• Works closely and cooperatively with collateral team to assist client with identified productivity problems or impairments.
• Conducts financial assessments and prepares committee summary per policy for employees in a financial hardship.
• Develops and provides training as requested.
