Inspector Technician

Pay Range: $22.50-$28.50/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Inspector Technician to join our production facility supporting the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will perform inspections throughout the production process, ensure quality compliance, and support documentation and administrative tasks to maintain high standards of safety and performance.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct in-process inspections to verify production quality at various stages of manufacturing.
- Inspect incoming raw materials for conformance to specifications prior to use in production.
- Operate and utilize X-ray inspection equipment to assess materials and components.
- Conduct product and process audits to maintain compliance with internal and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and test results.
- Perform document control, data entry, and other administrative tasks to support quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with inspection techniques in aerospace, composites, or high-temperature materials is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with X-ray inspection equipment and other non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and recording results.
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures, audits, and document control practices.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform administrative tasks accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed.
