Instructional Designer

Pay Range: $76.00-$80.50/hour
Job Description:
Instructional Designer with Operations and Project Management experience to join the Talent Development & Learning team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-impact, innovative learning solutions using strong needs assessment and instructional design methods. The role requires a unique blend of instructional design expertise, operations, and project management experience to manage the learning programs, vendor relationships, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Design (primary)
- Design and deliver effective learning and development solutions using an instructional systems design approach
- Conduct needs assessments, develop learning objectives, and create objective-aligned, adult-centered instructional strategies • Design, test, and implement learning materials, including instructor guides, participant guides, evaluation tools, and other electronic, hard copy, and web-based training Operations: • Coordinate with business leads and stakeholders to plan, schedule, and manage the logistics of virtual and in-person learning programs • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure contracts are up-to-date, services are procured, and invoices are processed accurately.
- Hold meetings with stakeholder, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and requesters to provide status updates, address concerns, and meet project deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree
- Deep knowledge of instructional design, content development, including needs-based curriculum design, program/project management, third-party supplier sourcing, and vendor management
- Experience developing adult leadership development programs using an instructional systems design approach
- Experience with learning program development with tools such as Articulate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning technologies
- Managing cources, running reports, adding SCORM file
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models
- Degree or certification in instructional design or a related field (e.g., Certified Instructional Designer, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) Facilitation skills in leadership development programs
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
