Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

Schedule: Full-Time | Engineering | First Shift (7am – 3:30pm) | Hybrid/Remote
Pay Range: $110,000+

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically driven Lead Electrical Engineer to architect and oversee the electrical systems powering our next-generation tactical vehicle platforms. In this leadership role, you will design and direct robust, mission-critical power architectures engineered to perform reliably in extreme and demanding environments.

You will guide a multidisciplinary team in developing advanced electrical systems supporting communications, thermal imaging, lighting, and integrated vehicle technologies. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership opportunity to shape high-performance electrical platforms from concept through production.

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Electrical and Mechatronic Engineers.
• Architect and design complete vehicle power distribution systems and electrical schematics.
• Oversee the selection of critical electrical components to ensure durability, reliability, and global operational performance.
• Direct the full lifecycle of electrical system development, including prototyping, validation testing, and integration.
• Establish and enforce standards for wire harness design, routing, and manufacturing best practices.
• Ensure electrical systems meet safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in system performance, manufacturability, and long-term serviceability.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, including 5+ years in a hands-on engineering leadership role.
• Strong expertise in DC electrical systems (12V/24V architectures).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or comparable design tools.
• Demonstrated experience in automotive, aerospace, defense, or heavy equipment electrical design.
• Proven ability to manage complex integrated systems in rugged or mission-critical environments.
• Exceptional analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
