Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Schedule: First Shift (7am – 3:30pm) & Second Shift (3:30pm – 12am) | Overtime Available
Pay Range: $45,500-$72,800/year

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a hands-on role that plays a critical part in maintaining equipment integrity, supporting preventative maintenance initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment to maintain uninterrupted production.
• Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery, tools, and facility systems.
• Identify and correct safety hazards, mechanical abnormalities, and facility issues.
• Collaborate with production, operations, and other departments to minimize service disruptions.
• Manage and update work orders using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Support equipment installations, adjustments, and process improvements as needed.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and OSHA regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial maintenance practices.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred.
• Strong understanding of occupational safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy equipment and materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a production-driven environment.
