Material Control Attendant

Pay Range: $21.00-$25.00/hour

Job Description:

Performs material control and warehouse functions to support manufacturing operations, including kitting, inventory management, material handling, and safe operation of equipment.

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Pick and assemble parts into kits accurately and efficiently.
· Perform warehousing tasks: shipping, receiving, storage, and maintaining organized inventory.
· Use inventory systems to verify stock, record transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
· Support production by expediting materials and tracking shortages or damaged items.
· Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
· Move, load, and unload materials while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in material control, stockroom, or related role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and follow work procedures, instructions, and basic drawings.
• Skilled with basic hand tools (e.g., tape measure, hammer, nails).
• English literacy (read, write, speak) and basic arithmetic skills.
• Knowledge of English measurement system; ability to learn metric system.
• Physically able to lift/push/pull at least 40 lbs and work in an active manufacturing environment.  Safe operation of forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment
