Location: Aiken, SC
Pay Range: $18.00-$22.00/hour

Additional candidates needed – This is for Friday-Sunday shift. It will be 3 12 hour shifts per week. Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Material Handler II to support material flow across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, storing, packaging, and shipping materials, as well as ensuring timely support to production teams. This position requires a proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and effectively.

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
• Support warehouse and production operations with timely material handling.
• Accurately pick and stage materials for manufacturing orders.
• Package, label, and prepare materials for shipping in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners and basic computer systems.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory control as needed.
• Perform manual tasks, including lifting materials (up to 30 lbs) and moving for portions of the shift.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a collaborative work environment.
• Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of forklift operation experience (sit-down and stand-up lifts).
• Prior experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or warehouse environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Willingness and ability to work weekend shifts and overtime as needed.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and performing manual tasks as part of daily duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Experience using handheld scanners for inventory transactions.
• Background in cycle counting or inventory control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to handle heavy or irregular loads with various types of forklifts.
