Mechanical Engineer

Pay Range: $100K to $150K/year
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful and diverse projects in the educational, government, healthcare, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will contribute to the mechanical design of building systems, including the development of construction documents (plans and specifications), and collaborate in a team-oriented environment alongside designers, engineers, architects, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical engineering design for a variety of building types across public and private sectors.
Develop and produce plans and specifications using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
Participate in design coordination meetings with internal teams and external partners.
Collaborate with project teams, owners, and inspectors to deliver high-quality results.
Contribute to plumbing system design (preferred but not required).
Mentor junior team members and support project development from concept through construction.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina (required).
Minimum of 5 years of experience with MEP projects, with a focus on HVAC and mechanical systems design.
Proficiency in Revit MEP (required); AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
Plumbing design experience is a strong plus.
Strong initiative, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.
EITs with exceptional experience and drive may also be considered.
