Position: Quality Manager
Location: Farmington, CT
Salary: $160,000 – $200,000
USPRO Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead Quality operations within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role will oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), support audit readiness, and partner with manufacturing and engineering leadership to drive continuous improvement and compliance excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the AS9100-compliant Quality Management System (QMS)
- Manage inspection, MRB activity, and final inspection functions
- Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with customer, FAA, and industry requirements
- Support contract/specification review and inspection planning
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams on quality initiatives
- Analyze quality metrics and drive corrective/preventive actions
- Lead Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen improvement efforts
- Strengthen quality culture through training and cross-functional collaboration
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
- 8+ years of aerospace or regulated manufacturing quality experience
- 5+ years leading quality teams (inspection, MRB, final inspection)
- Strong ownership of AS9100 / ISO / NADCAP / FAA compliance environments
- Experience leading internal & external audits
- Background in contract review and technical specification interpretation
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Working knowledge of supplier quality, calibration systems, and testing methods
- ERP experience (JobBOSS or similar preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Engineering, Quality, or Business)
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Experience scaling quality systems to support growth programs
- Direct customer and regulatory audit interface experience
