System Support Specialist

Pay Range: $18.00-$21.00/hour
Job Description:
The System Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the processes, systems, and administration of key Global Business Services (GBS) applications. This short-term assignment provides essential coverage for system support operations and focuses on ensuring the performance, reliability, and effective use of platforms such as SAP ECC, Ivalua, Coupa, and DocuSign. The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, experience in procurement or supply chain functions, and a proactive mindset toward reducing repeat end-user issues through process improvement and self-service enablement.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day end user support for SAP ECC, Ivalua, Coupa, DocuSign, and other core GBS applications, ensuring system functionality and adherence to data security standards.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for global business users, resolving system queries and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with IT teams and external vendors.
- Monitor and analyze recurring user challenges; develop solutions and support documentation that promote user self-service and reduce incoming support tickets.
- Administer and maintain system configurations, permissions, workflows, and process updates as required.
- Ensure timely resolution of system issues and communicate status, impact, and expected timelines clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Support small to medium-sized projects related to system enhancements, process optimization, integrations, and application upgrades.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across global regions, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring consistency in system usage and best practices.
- Leverage data analysis skills to manage, interrogate, and interpret large data sets supporting reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
- Identify and lead improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and enhance the end-user experience.
- Ensure all work follows established IT protocols, governance, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT, system support, or business operations role.
- Strong understanding of procurement and/or supply chain processes, including familiarity with sourcing, contract management, spend management, or spend analytics.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and one or more of the following systems: Ivalua, Coupa, DocuSign.
- Excellent technical problem-solving abilities with experience in issue triage, root cause analysis, and coordinated resolution.
- High proficiency in data management, including analyzing and working with large data sets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across global, multicultural teams.
- Highly resourceful, self-managed, and capable of balancing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support and deliver small to medium-sized projects.
