Test Engineer (Labview Developer)

Pay Range: $60.00-$70.00/hour

Job Description:
The Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing tests and calibration processes to ensure product quality and functionality. They will be responsible for collaborating with teams and design test and calibration plans, identify and report defects, identify root causes and maintain records of test procedures, results and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test and calibration software in LabVIEW and other languages
• Support R&D projects in testing and troubleshooting.
• Generate regression test plans for consistent firmware releases
  • Drive this to automated test
  • Monitor defects and continuously improve regression testing
• Document known working states for each camera configuration
• Generate production test and calibration plans from our specifications
  • Release and control that test plan through the document control process
  • Ensure test systems are implemented and controlled in accordance with that plan

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience working in a manufacturing and test environment
• LabView experience – creating and troubleshooting applications
• Experience creating and maintaining test procedures, test diagrams, and reviewing test data
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively between engineering and operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Practical knowledge of the Electro-optics field
• Practical knowledge of environmental test systems
• Proficiency at writing clear and concise language tailored to a wide variety of audiences

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
